James Kalleske at the helm of the 21 year old winery, assures the new Pinot Noir wine is set to make a dramatic impact on the local market. The 2016 Two Islands Pinot Noir is made using grapes from the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.
This medium-light bodied dry red wine is soft, silky, fruity and satisfying. It offers complex aromas of toast and raspberry jam, and oregano leaves, with flavors of plum, truffles and warming sweet spices.
This vintage is a beautiful blend between complex old world style and fresh fruity new world style, which should appeal equally to experienced Pinot Noir wine drinkers and also general wine consumers who like fruity red wines.
