Description
A cool, wet and windy spring impacted grapevine flowering and fruit set,
reducing yields dramatically across the majority of wine growing regions. This
yield reduction allowed for concentrated berries producing strong and rich
wine styles.
The resulting wines from the 2014 vintage were rich and varietal with
intense, vibrant colours and an appealing, balanced tannin structure.
NOSE
A fragrant medley of citrus blossom, rosewater, musk and the slightest hint
of strawberry.
PALATE
Sweet musk and blossom notes splash across the palate with a pleasing
sweet freshness, then the faintest hint of strawberry slips in, adding an extra
layer of flavour. A moderate spritz gives the wine life and fizz. Wonderfully
refreshing.
This wine is perfect for a warm summer afternoon with friends, and will even
respond well to the addition of ice, if that takes your fancy.
