Description
Its name comes from the island of Curaçao where a distillery used a particular species of orange called Laraha or Curaçao orange, a green, fibrous and bitter fruit that gives the product its taste specificity. The idea of the distiller to color the product in brilliant blue contributes to distinguish and register the Blue Curaçao as an essential ingredient in drinks. Giffard Blue Curaçao has a zesty aromatic profile with candied notes.
- Deep blue.
- Velvety scent, with strong candied orange notes. Very pleasantly floral (sweet and bitter oranges).
- Round and smooth flavor with an aromatic body dominated by citrus notes.
